G2C1 CAN

The CAN interface on J12 has been tested using the Komodo Duo CAN adapter.

In this configuration, you need to add a 120 Ohm resistor to R16 in order to terminate the bus.

Reach is able to provide a CAN IO Agent to replace the SIO Agent providing an interface mechanism for the QML Viewer.

The CAN kernel driver is not loaded by default. You can enable the module by creating the file /etc/modules with one line that reads ‘flexcan’.

The CAN init script located at /etc/init.d/can-agent will set the bitrate. The bitrate can be changed by changing the CAN_BAUDRATE variable in that script. You will need to reset the module for the bitrate change to take effect.
